Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has written a letter to the
Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of
Representatives Yakubu Dogara criticizing them over the reported plans
to buy more cars for each Senator to carry out their legislative duties.
In the letter dated January 13th, Obasanjo stated that it was
insensitive of the legislators to think of buying more cars considering

Photo: Yahaya Bello Takes Oath of Office
Yahaya Bello has been sworn in as the governor of Kogi state. He was sworn in this morning at a ceremony still happening in the state. Yahaya became governor in a controversial supplementary election that was conducted after APC's governorship candidate, Prince Audu Abubakar, died suddenly during the governorship election in November last year.
Meanwhile James Faleke who ran as deputy governor with Abubakar did not attend the ceremony.

The trial judge, Justice Okon Abang, changed his earlier order that the sureties must own property in the Maitama area of Abuja only to an order that the sureties must own property in any area of the Federal Capital Territory. He however, retained the sum of bail which he put at 400 million Naira.

Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State had opened up on why he visited a governor-colleague, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola of Osun State.
News Punch earlier today reported that the controversial governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele fayose was spotted in the State Government House Osogbo, where he had a meeting with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the governor of the state.
