Ekiti lawmakers back Fayose, move sitting to highway
Members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly on Wednesday held their plenary on a major roundabout in Okesa to protest what they said was a witch-hunt against Governor Ayodele Fayose by the Federal Government.
This is the complete list of the seventeen
counts of charges against former Minister of Aviation and Spokesman for
Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 Presidential Campaign Femi Fani-Kayode, as
well as Nnenadi Esther Usman, and Danjuman Yusuf by the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mr. Fani-Kayode and others are connected to a monumental N46 billion
fraud during their time in former President Goodluck Jonathan’s
presidency.The full list of charges can be viewed below:
26 Ekiti House of Assembly members protest FG's alleged harrassment of Fayose
26 members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly today, at Okesa Junction, Ado Ekiti, protested federal government's harassment of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose as well as the intimidation of Members of the Assembly with FG witch-hunting apparatus.
The members who came prepared for arrest with their traveling bags to the spot of the sit down protest vowed to remain at the spot for the whole day. They promised to support Governor Fayose with whatever it takes, including sacrificing their lives saying this is 2016 and not 2006.
